Clarence Town is one of the main settlements on Long Island and is the capital with a small population of just over 100 people. Despite the small population Clarence Town is a regular meeting place for just about everything including the mail boat that comes in from Nassau every week, its famous architecturally unique churches and the Flying Fish marina. It also has a small grocery store, gas station and small restaurants as well as the post office and community centre. Clarence Town encompasses Lochabar which is a popular residential investment area.
