Just south of Great Exuma lies the island of Little Exuma, which measures a modest six miles and has incredible beaches and a lush landscape. It is connected to Great Exuma by a bridge called the “Ferry.” The entrance to Little Exuma overlooks Moriah Harbour National Park one of the most beautiful sites in The Bahamas. The Tropic of Cancer beach is one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Little Exuma is rich in history. Not only does it have an old, authentic pirate fort atop one of its highest peaks, but one can also visit the Hermitage where early settlers of the region once lived.
